The operator

Which legal entity operates the service

AgriTech ZA is a trading name used by the company that owns and operates this website and the associated client platform.

The operating company is the entity you contract with when you accept our Terms of Use and establish an account. The entity's complete legal designation, its organizational structure, its registration data and the corporate group affiliation are detailed in the client agreement provided during account setup, and are made available upon request via the methods outlined in the "Accessing documentation" section below.

Because corporate structures, registered particulars and service arrangements can change, we deliberately do not restate them as fixed text on a marketing page. The client agreement and the documentation pack we send you are the authoritative source; where this page and those documents differ, the documents prevail.

Group companies and service providers

Certain functions - technology hosting, payment processing, market data, customer identification tools - are carried out by specialist third-party providers under written agreements. The categories of provider we use, and the way your personal data is handled by them, are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish provider names on this page.

Framework

The regulatory framework we work within

We outline here the nature of responsibilities that regulate the service, rather than identifying regulatory bodies or providing statute citations, which are included in the binding agreements.

  1. 01

    Client identification

Every account is verified before funding, trading or withdrawal, in line with the KYC and AML controls described on our KYC & AML page.

  2. 02

    Financial-crime prevention

Sanctions and risk screening, ongoing transaction monitoring, internal escalation procedures and record retention for the periods required by applicable law.

  3. 03

    Handling of client money

Client balances are recorded separately from the operating funds of the business, and payouts are returned to a verified instrument in the client's own name.

  4. 04

    Fair and clear communication

Expense rates, bid-ask margins and all pertinent charges are displayed in your account and at our fees schedule. We make no guarantee of particular outcomes, and all marketing communications include a danger notice.

  5. 05

    Data protection

Personal information is handled under an established legitimate foundation, kept only for the requisite duration, and safeguarded through authorization protocols and encoding both during transmission and in storage.

  6. 06

    Complaints handling

A written internal complaints procedure with acknowledgement, investigation and a substantive reply within the timeframe stated when your complaint is logged.

Where a jurisdiction mandates more stringent domestic provisions than stated above, the more stringent provision becomes binding for clients domiciled in that location.

Documentation

Process for requesting business and regulatory documents

Clients, prospective clients and professional counterparties may request our corporate and compliance documentation. We provide it on request rather than publishing it openly.

What can be requested

  • Verification of the service provider and its organizational details.
  • The current account agreement and the applicable fee schedule for your account.
  • A summary of our AML and client-identification procedures.
  • The procedure for handling complaints and how concerns are addressed at higher levels.
  • Privacy particulars relating to information about you personally.

How to make the request

  1. 01

    Write to us

Use the contact route on our contact page. Put "Regulatory documentation request" in the subject line.

  2. 02

    Identify yourself

State whether you are an existing client (and give the email address on the account) or a prospective client, and which documents you need.

  3. 03

    Receive the pack

Inquiries are handled within the window specified when your inquiry is confirmed. Certain records may be delivered in partial form when they comprise restricted proprietary content.

Documents are sent to the verified contact details on file. We cannot send account-specific documentation to a third party without your written authorisation.

Availability

Jurisdictions served and excluded

The service is made accessible only where we are authorized to make it accessible. Eligibility is determined at signup depending on your location of residence, and this can be modified.

Where the service is offered

Accounts may be opened by residents of the countries listed as eligible in the registration flow of your account. If your country appears in that list and you pass verification, you can proceed. If it does not appear, the service is not available to you.

Where the service is not offered

  • Countries and territories subject to applicable international sanctions or embargoes.
  • Jurisdictions where offering this type of service to retail clients requires a local authorisation we do not hold.
  • Jurisdictions classified as elevated risk for criminal monetary activity in accordance with relevant statutes.
  • Any territory we have chosen to exclude for internal risk reasons.

No solicitation

Nothing on this website is directed at, or intended for distribution to or use by, any person in a jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law. Accessing this site from an excluded jurisdiction does not create a right to use the service. If you move to an excluded jurisdiction while holding an account, tell us - the account may need to be restricted or closed and any balance returned to you.

Contact

Regulatory and compliance questions

Inquiries regarding our licensing status, our adherence standards, or an issue requiring escalation should be directed to the compliance contact rather than regular customer service.

How do I raise a compliance question?

Send it through the contact page and note it as "Compliance". Supply the registered account email if you maintain an active account, and outline the matter in one or two phrases.

How do I make a formal complaint?

Use the same route and mark the message "Complaint". You will receive an acknowledgement, a reference and an indication of the timeframe for a substantive reply. If the outcome does not resolve the matter, the reply will explain the further escalation options available to you.

How do I flag unlawful conduct or misappropriation of our trademark?

Use the report abuse page. Impersonation of AgriTech ZA in messages, adverts or cloned sites should be reported there so we can act on it.

Are institutional or press enquiries handled here?

Yes - send them through the contact page with a clear subject line and they will be routed to the right team.
